CAAM Aviation Legislation and Airworthiness Requirements

Course Overview

This course provides an introduction to CAA Malaysia Aviation Legislation and Airworthiness
Requirements. The Course is designed to accommodate the general understanding for personnel
involved in aircraft maintenance and continuing airworthiness who are required to have basic
knowledge of CAAM Aviation Legislation.

Who Should Attend?

This course is aimed at Components, Engines and APU Certifying Staff, Quality Managers, Line &
Training Managers, other stakeholders and persons wishing to understand the Principles of Aviation
Legislation Exposure.

Course Objective

By the end of this course, participants will understand the following:

  • CAAM Regulatory framework
  • Relationship between various requirements and operations to maintain and continue the
    airworthiness of aircraft and its components.
  • Relationship between CAAM and other international requirements

CAAM Part-M Continuing Airworthiness Awareness

Course Overview

This course provides an introduction to CAA Malaysia Part M. It provides a working knowledge review of CAA Malaysia Part M, its regulatory structure, subparts according to CAAM CAD 6801. This course will enable an understanding of the continuing airworthiness responsibilities of an Operator and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisations.

Who Should Attend?

This course is suitable for individuals working in, or with oversight of the Continuing Airworthiness Management of all aircraft types. It is equally suitable for both commercial and non-commercial owners and operators.

Course Objective

By the end of this course, participants will understand the following:

  • The relevance of Subpart G (Continuing Airworthiness Management) and Subpart I (Airworthiness Review Certificates) as appropriate to their aircraft and individual roles
  • How these regulations might be implemented in their related fields.

CAAM Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance License

Course Overview

This course provides an introduction to CAAM Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance License (AML), detailing the requirements for the issue, extension and variation of Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance License.

This course is suitable for individuals working in environment, aircraft maintenance or with oversight of the CAAM Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance License.

  • Compliance with CAAM regulations

ELECTRICAL WIRING AND INTERCONNECTION SYSTEM (EWIS)

Course Overview

This course provides training on Electrical Wiring and Interconnection System. It provides a working
knowledge review of EWIS mainly for qualified staff performing EWIS maintenance and inspection.

Staff performing EWIS maintenance and staff performing maintenance inspection on EWIS

Course Objective

By the end of this course, participants will understand the following:

  • The requirements and standard practice working on EWIS.
  • Documentations related to EWIS system maintenance.
  • Identify wiring and connective devices in EWIS system maintenance including repair of EWIS connective devices

CAAM Part-147 Approved Maintenance Training Organization

Course Overview

This course provides an introduction to CAA Malaysia Part-147 Approved maintenance Training Organization (MTO). It provides a working knowledge review of CAA Malaysia Part-147, and its requirements. This course will enable an understanding for the approval of maintenance training organization which has two parts; basic training and aircraft type rating training.

Who Should Attend?

This course is suitable for individuals working in, or with oversight of the Part-147 Approved Maintenance Training Organization.

Course Objective

By the end of this course, participants will understand the following:

  • Compliance with CAAM regulations
  • Initial approval requirements and process of Part 147 MTO
  • Construction and control of training courses
  • Requirements for procedures for control of the approval and the quality oversight of the organization

CAAM Part-145 Awareness

Course Overview

CAAM Part 145 Training is addressed to personnel responsible for regulatory compliance within their organization. Theoretical familiarization of CAD 8601 - Maintenance Organisation Approval (CAAM Part 145) are foundations to build an efficient and stable Part 145 organization.

Who Should Attend?

This course is suitable for individuals working in the aviation industry who require an introduction to Part-145 Approved Maintenance Organization to fulfil their role in contributing to the development of the organization.

Course Objective

Understand all aspects of the CAD 8601 - Maintenance Organisation Approval (CAAM Part 145) including: personnel and facility, Certifying and equipment and Airworthiness, material, planning and maintenance processes, records and reporting, quality system and content of MOE.
