CAAM Part 66 Licensed Aircraft Engineer Program (B1.1 Aeroplane Turbine)

In 2011, CAAM Malaysia embarked on a new and most up to date Part 66 licensing system, incorporating all the latest requirement of ICAO. With the publication of Airworthiness Notice 1101, all issuance and renewal of license shall be under this system. CAAM Malaysia now issue two main categories of license being ‘Category A’ (Aircraft Maintenance Technician), ‘category B1’ (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Mechanical) and ‘category B2’ (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Avionics).

CAAM Part 66 Licensed Aircraft Engineer Program (B2)

Category B2 (AML) for engineers or AMEL, as defined under regulation 31 of CAR 1996, shall permit the holder to issue certificates following maintenance of avionic and electrical systems. The certificates to be issued are certificates of release to service in respect of overhaul, inspection, repair, replacement, modification and schedule maintenance inspection so approved. Admal Aviation College is approved center for  CAAM Part 66 modules examination since 2015 with approval number ATO/205/03.

Cat A1 License

CAAM Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Technology with Cat A1 License

On completion of the programme, the graduates will be awarded Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Technology with Category A.1 (Aeroplane Turbine) license.

This comprehensive training will prepare the graduates to be readily absorbed by the aviation industries such as airlines, maintenance and repair organization, aircraft vendors, and also repair station or workshops.
