About Admal Flying Academy

Admal Flying Academy (AFA) was established in June 2025 and operates from its dedicated hangar located in Kuala Terengganu. AFA is committed to producing skilled and competent commercial pilots through structured, high-quality flight training programs.

Certified and approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) under approval number ATO.FTO.17/25, AFA specializes in Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) training. Our mission is to provide professional pilot education that meets national aviation standards, equipping our students with the knowledge, skills, and discipline required for a successful career in aviation.

Programmes Description

  • Our highest aim is to provide a diploma to a professional career of a pilot as most of the pilot in Malaysia only possess SPM as their highest level of education. Unlike other country such as Singapore, Thailand, Europe, the level of education of pilot is at least a Bachelor Degree.
  • Throughout the diploma, future pilots will be assigned with various task that deal with critical thinking, management, human interaction, etc compared to only attending Flying school and completing the theory and practical hour of their flight training.
  • They also will be exposed to various aviation scenario in terms of management and operation such as dangerous goods, Airport and airline management, safety, etc as this programme aims to provide graduate with both knowledge and skills related with management and piloting.

Enrollment Process

Application

Minimum requirement 5 credits in SPM, including:-

  • English
  • Mathematics
  • any Science subject
  • and 2 other credits
  • or any approved equivalent qualifications
Pre-assessment Phase

Cadet will undergo:

  • Interview session

Assess by:

  • Head of Training
  • CFI
  • Head of Student Affairs
  • Recruitment Officer
CAAM Approval Letter

Admal will assists in application for the approval letter from CAAM.
Provided that the cadet had meet the requirement.

Medical Phase
  • Medical Class 1 Certificate
  • Admal will assist to make an appointment with CAAM authorized medical examiner.
  • Medical cost by cadet.
